The B92 Fund started the action in December of 2008 “ Cavic for the neighbor” in which, with a donor’s help, has being bought the apartment of 84 square meters. The president of the HB of the B92 Fund Veran Matic explained the wish of the Fund to help all who “would like to help a young man who had come from his birth country to his homeland to get a decent conditions for living and working in his homeland and thus get a home”
Milorad has received the keys of the apartment.
Milorad received the first medal for Serbia in 2003 at the European Championshop in 25-meter long swimming pools, held in Helsinki. Cavic won the gold medal in 100 m butterfly, setting the new word record. Cavic also on the same championship won the silver medal in 50 m free style, and the champion’s title he defended successfully in Helsinki in 2006, and in Debrecen in 2007, and in Rijeka in 2008.
Last year in Eindhoven he won the gold medal and set the new world record. At the Beijing Olympics he won the silver medal in 100 m butterfly in the unforgettable race. Finally, Cavic won the gold medal in 50 m butterfly and the gold medal in 100 m butterfly at the World Championship in Rome.
Matic reminded that B92 has a lot of success when it is necessary to bond all those benefactors and those who can and this time the campaign was started ‘’ Cavic for the neighbor”.

“We broadcasted it only few times in December 2008. Very soon, we found the donors who help us get this flat of 84 square meters, built 5 years ago, and give it to Cavic for good”, Matic explained.
