Triumphs of Cavic and Stjepanovic

The best Serbian swimmer Milorad Cavic has triumphed in the race 100m freestyle at a rally in Greek Chania, with the time of 51.03 seconds. It has been the first official race for the trophy swimmer since the World Championship in Rome last year. At the same time, the young Serbian player, 17-year-old Velimir Stjepanovic, celebrated in four races at a rally in English Sheffield.

"I am satisfied with the victory. It was important to me to break the ice and then feel the atmosphere of the competition. Outside was chilly and the wind blew what made me certain problems, but in the end everything turned out well," said Cavic.

Cavic swam the section in the qualifications in 52.3 seconds, while at the finals the score was improved to 51.03 seconds. Cavic should compete on Sunday in the 100m butterfly discipline, but still he is not sure whether to start in his main discipline. The 17-year-old swimmer of the Partizan Velimir Stjepanovic has achieved excellent results and he won gold medals at the last year's EYOF-in. The Serbian national team player, who lives in Dubai, won at the rally in Sheffield the race in the 100m freestyle (50.56), 200m freestyle (1:52,43) 100m butterfly (54.23) and 200m butterfly (2:01,00 )
