Cavic leads swimmers at the 16th Mediterranean Games

The winner of the silver medal on the Olympic games in Beijing Milorad Cavic will lead swimmers at the 16th Mediterranean Games of Pescara, Italy.

Besides Cavic, at the Games from June 26 until July 5, in men selection there are also Ivan Lendjer, Csaba Szilagyi, Radovan Siljevski, Boris Stojanovic and Mladen Tepavcevic, and in the women selection Serbia will be presented by Andrea Basaraba, Miroslava Najdanovski, Marica Strazmester and Danijela Djikanovic.

Let’s See Who Is Now Champ!

The best Serbian swimmer MIlorad Cavic welcomed the decision of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) to ban the whole generation of new swimming suites, who has been helping contesters to gain better results and to easily beat records.

Amsterdam Swim Cup, Milorad won

Milorad competed at the Amsterdam Swim Cup and took 1st place on the 50 and 100-meter butterflies and he set the competition record. Second and third place at the qualification and final races  won Evgeny Korotyshkin from Russia and Joaeri Verlinden from Nederland. All the best to Milorad and go ahead! Official site redesigned

The official site of Milorad Cavic, www.miloradcavic.com,  has been recently redesigned. The site is nicely done, easier to browse and much prettier, developed in flash and created for all screen resolutions…. Well, guys just continue good job….
Very soon an English version of our fan site is going to be published with minor changes and improvements. Greetings!

Milorad at the promotion of Ford Fiesta

On February 12 at the Grand Motors store in Novi Beograd, there was formal presentation of a new generation of well-known Ford model Fiesta in the presence of more than hundred invitees – business, sport, entertainment and art celebrities.

Among the invitees there were Swedish ambassador in Serbia, swimming ace Milorad Cavic, basketball players of Partizan… They all have an opportunity, in relaxed atmosphere, to get to know the new successor of the renowned "origin" of practical cars.

Reconstruction of Sports center "Milan Gale Muskatirovic"

An adaptation and improvement of the swimming pool of the Sports center "Milan Gale Muskatirovic" at the Belgrade municipality "Old Town" is expected soon. A public announcement has been given for equipment supply and pool techniques for opened and closed pools.

Milorad at the preparations

Our best swimmer is currently at Sierra Nevada doing heights preparations (2.3 km) until February 10th with his team from Italy.  They have been preparing from January 20th and they have to adapt to the climate and height for a few days, but from Monday they should start practise seriously.

Our best swimmer Miroslava Najdanovski from Zrenjanin has joined them too.

Cavic in B92 action of blood donation

The best Serbian swimmer Milorad Cavic today supported B92 action of blood donation, in which he was a donator himself.

"To be honest, this is my first time to donate blood. It is a small, but a very nice deed. Simply to help someone in a process that lasts only 15 minutes. This one small thing can help someone`s life, and why not? I want to help people more, and this is the smallest I can give", the winner of the silver medal at the Olympics in Bejing said.
